Joseph Stack III a software engineer from Austin Texas decided that he could not take it anymore. He launched a suicide attack on the IRS agency Thursday by crashing his small plane into an office building containing nearly 200 IRS employees.
Mr. Stack was not happy with the American tax laws, big business executives, and government. He posted a note to his website shortly before taking to his plane and then targeting the IRS office building.
He mentioned the 1986 tax legislation started as a favor to IBM and stated that the bill "made it extremely difficult for information technology professionals to work as self-employed individuals, forcing most to become company employees". This was reported by the N.Y. Times.
They also reported that many software engineers and other such professionals say that the law denies them the opportunity to become wealthy entrepreneurs and that it makes it harder to increase and refine their skills, eventually diminishing their income.
Will Joseph Stack III receive the terrorist treatment or will he find sympathy for his transgressions against Americans and U.S. government porperty?
Joe Stack posted his manifesto online.
